Description

The Battery is a late 19th-century structure located at Clumber Park in Worksop. It features a square canted projection into Clumber Lake, constructed from coursed squared rubble with ashlar coping. The design includes an earth rampart enclosed by ashlar end walls. To the right of the structure, there are steps flanked by a chamfered dwarf wall. Inside, there are nine stands for cannon balls. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
