Battery in the form of square canted projection into Clumber Lake. Late C19. Coursed squared rubble wall with ashlar coping, enclosing earth rampart with ashlar end walls. To right, steps with chamfered dwarf flanking wall. Inside, 9 stands for cannon balls. Included for group value only.
