Description
Windmill Cottage is a cottage built in 1813 and 1884, constructed of brick and whitewashed, featuring pantile roofs. It has dentillated eaves, a single gable, and single ridge stacks. The cottage is a single storey with three bays and has an L-plan layout. The east front includes a projecting bay on the left side. To the right, there is a 20th-century plank door, and to the left, there are two Yorkshire sash windows and a single casement window, all with segmental heads. To the right, there is a 20th-century lean-to addition made of brick with a pantile roof, which includes a single 20th-century casement window. The east front also features a Yorkshire sash window with a segmental head. The rear elevation has three 20th-century casement windows and, to the right, a Yorkshire sash window with a segmental head.
