Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a pantile roof with a single ridge red brick stack. The building stands two storeys high and has four bays. The doorway, which has a 20th-century door, is topped with a pantile hood. To the right of the doorway is a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash window, while to the left are two segmental arched glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. On the upper floor, there are three additional glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. Set back to the right is a single-storey, three-bay range, which includes a central Yorkshire sash window flanked by two doorways with plank doors.
