Description
North Leverton Windmill is a tower mill built in 1813 and raised in 1884. It is constructed of brick that has been tarred, featuring an ogee domed cap that is close boarded and topped with a ball finial. The windmill has timber Patent sails and a fantail. Its battered circular tower consists of three stages, with a parallel third stage. On the south side, there is a plank door with a segmental head, while the east and west sides have a single glazing bar light each. Additionally, there is a single Yorkshire sash window on each floor facing north and south. This mill is currently in working order and is in use.
