Description

North Leverton Manor House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with changes made in the late 18th century, including the addition of a rear section. The building is constructed of brick and features a hipped pantile roof. It has a plinth, a first-floor band, and cogged and dentillated eaves. The house has a single rear wall and single ridge stacks, with eight blocked openings on the main facade. It is two storeys high, arranged in three bays, and has an L-plan layout with a rear addition and a 19th-century single-storey service wing to the left.

The main south front features a central moulded timber doorcase with decorative paterae, a geometrical overlight, and a hood. This doorcase is flanked by plain sash windows with rubbed brick heads. Above, there are three identical sash windows. The service wing on the left has a central casement window flanked by single doors. The east front has three plain sash windows, two of which have segmental heads. The west side of the building has the letters 'A C' inscribed in the header bricks.

Inside, the manor house contains an original staircase with turned balusters, a moulded handrail, and plain newels with moulded corners and cups, along with shaped splat balusters at the attic level.
