Description

The gateway to the churchyard of the Church of St. Oswald is located 12 metres north of the church tower. It was built in the mid-19th century and is made of ashlar stone and iron. The design features a central small iron gate that is flanked by single engaged columns with moulded capitals. These columns support an ashlar overthrow that includes a hood mould and a central cross. The columns are connected to small sloping ashlar walls. This structure is included for its group value with the church.
