Description
No. 3 Chapel Lane is a house that dates from the late 17th century, with later additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a pantile roof, which has a single large ridge stack and a lateral stack. The building is two stories high and has a front with five irregular bays, with the third bay from the left projecting significantly forward.
On the left side, there are three modern three-light casement windows, all with wooden lintels. The projecting bay contains a 19th-century casement window with a brick segmental head. The right-hand bay does not have any windows. Above the left side, there are two modern two-light casement windows, both with wooden lintels. In the third bay to the right, there is a 19th-century casement window with a brick segmental head. Inside, the house features encased beams.
