Description
Manor House is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th century, with later additions from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with red brick coped gables, two gable stacks, a single ridge stack, and three gabled dormer windows with casements. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of five irregular bays.
The central doorway is framed by a large 20th-century stone porch that has a pantile roof and wooden gables, leading to 20th-century double glass doors. To the left of the doorway, there is a small pointed fixed window with a brick head and a blocked doorway beyond it. Further along, there is a large canted bay window with 20th-century casements flanking French windows. To the right of the doorway, there is a large window with a brick segmental head and fixed lights, followed by a three-light casement with a brick segmental head.
The 18th and 19th-century additions are located at the back and sides of the house. Inside, there is a large hall to the right in the 16th-century front block, which features exposed timber beams.
