Description
No. 4 Tubbs Lane is a house that dates from the 17th century or possibly earlier. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features some wooden lintels. The roof is made of concrete interlocking tiles and has rendered stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic.
The front of the house has three windows, with the doorway located to the left of centre. To the right of the door is a two-light casement window, both of which have rendered lintels. To the left, there is a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel. The first floor features two-light casement windows. The left gable has a two-light attic window situated above the roof of an early single-storey addition. The right end wall is rendered. The main roof has stacks located to the left of centre and on the right gable, both featuring stone weatherings. The interior has not been inspected.
