Description
No. 82 is a house located on High Street, dating from the 17th century, possibly earlier. It is constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins and features timber lintels, topped by an old plain-tile roof. The building has an L-plan layout and consists of two storeys plus attics. The front of the house includes a gable from a projecting wing on the left side, which has three-light 20th-century casements on both the ground and first floors, along with a blocked attic window. To the right, there is a 20th-century lean-to brick infill that serves as the current entrance, and the roof behind it is half-hipped. The gable-fronted range has a large stone stack at the rear with three diagonal brick shafts and includes a rear outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
