Description

No. 101 is a house located on the north side of High Street in Wheatley, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features brick segmental arches. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit, through-passage plan with a rear outshut and stands two storeys high. The central door is flanked by three-light casement windows, with two additional two-light casements on the first floor. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a cambered bressumer and a flanking winder stair.
