Description

Vale Brook House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Wheatley High Street. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features weatherboarding, an old plain-tile roof, and brick stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high. The front has two windows, a storey band, and 4-pane sash windows on the first floor, which are adorned with keyblocks. The double-span roof is hipped to the left and has end stacks. At the rear, there are casement windows, and a rear range continues to the right with weatherboarding. The entrance is now located at the rear and features a 4-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
