Description
No. 62 Gloucester Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof, with rebuilt brick and rendered stacks at both ends. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a four-window range. On the first floor, there are four 20th-century two-light timber casement windows with glazing bars, set under exposed timber lintels. The ground floor has four similar windows. In the center, there is a six-panel door also with an exposed timber lintel. The attic includes one hipped dormer with a two-light timber casement window featuring glazing bars, and a larger hipped full dormer with a similar window, which appears to have blocked a former hoist opening. At the rear, there are two gabled wings. The interior has not been inspected.
