Description

The East Gateway to Belvoir Estate, located on Belvoir Road in Woolsthorpe by Belvoir, is a wrought iron gateway dating from around 1870. It features a pair of gates with vertical bars that have scrolled terminals and central rails. The gates are accompanied by scrolled side panels. Above the gates is an overthrow that includes a central circle with a coronet and initials, which is flanked by leafy scrolls. This structure is included in the listing for its group value context.
