Description
No. 46 Church Street is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The building features blue lias stone and red brick, which is laid in Flemish bond on the street front and in English Garden bond on the return. It has a pantile roof with gable stacks and three dormers with casement windows. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has a four-bay front, along with a lean-to on the north-west side. There is a segmental-headed doorway at the west end with a plain wooden door. On the east side, there are three casement windows, each with segmental heads. The back wall is made of 17th-century blue lias stone, and the lean-to has a single casement window under a segmental head.
