Description
No. 18 West Street is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantiled roof with brick coped gables and two gable stacks. The building has a single storey plus attics and a three-bay front with a dentillated eaves course. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door, which is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. All openings have segmental brick arched heads. The roof includes three raking dormers with flat leaded roofs and cheeks, each containing two-light casement windows.
