Description

Laurels Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. It is built from coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of Westmoreland slate and has stone coped gables, along with ashlar gable stacks that have moulded cornices.

The farmhouse is two stories high and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century three-panelled door with a plain overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All openings are topped with splayed ashlar lintels that include keyblocks.
