Description

No. 4 Church Street is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a thatched roof with a stone and brick central ridge and brick end stacks. The building has one and a half storeys and is designed with two windows on the front. The windows include a 6-pane part-glazed door and a three-light central opening. Above, there are two eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. The cottage has wooden lintels and the door is accessed by a flight of stone steps. On the right end, there is a 2-light casement with toplights.
