Description

Nos. 5 and 7 on Church Street are two cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and feature a thatched roof with a central ridge made of stone and brick, along with brick end stacks. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and have three casement windows, consisting of one 2-light window and two 3-light windows. To the right, there is a single-storey extension that projects forward, which has a hipped Collyweston slate roof and a 20th-century bow window and door. The entrance to No. 7 is located at the left end of the building. These cottages are included for their group value.
