Description

The Fancourt tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Peter in Empingham, is a table tomb dated 1842. It is made of stone and features a Tuscan pilaster on either side of the inscription panels. The tomb commemorates Matthew Fancourt, who died in 1842. It is situated to the north of the north transept of the church and is included for its group value.
