Description

The Brockett/Chapman tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Peter in Empingham, is a double table tomb dated 1737 and 1751. It is made of stone and features a plinth, inscription panels, and corner pilasters. The inscriptions commemorate John Brockett, who died in 1751, and John Chapman, who died in 1737, along with their families. The tomb is situated near the eastern end of the church.
