Description

The Dowthan tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Peter, is a table tomb dated 1797. It is made of stone and features a stone plinth with half baluster corners, oval inscription panels, and bell-flower drops. The tomb includes an inscription dedicated to Mary, the wife of Dowthan, dated 1799. It is situated in the angle between the chancel and the south transept of the church.
