Description

The walls, steps, gate piers, and gates at the churchyard of St. Peter date from the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone and wrought iron. A stone-coped wall, approximately 1.5 meters high, borders two sides of the churchyard and serves as part of a retaining structure. Outside the west door of the church, there is a flight of stone steps leading up to a pair of gate piers that support wrought iron gates. Additionally, there are two other gates set into the wall. This structure is included for its group value context.
