Description

The cross shaft at the churchyard of St. Peter in Empingham is a medieval stone structure. It features an octagonal shaft that rests on a chamfered square plinth, which has tiny broaches. The total height of the cross shaft is approximately 2 meters. It is located to the south of the tower of the church.
