Description
No. 11 Church Street is an 18th-century house that was remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings, topped with a plain tile roof featuring a moulded stone ridge and end stacks. The gables are stone-coped, and the gable facing the street is on the left side. The house has two storeys with three casements: a 2-light, a 3-light, and another 2-light above three 3-light windows, along with a part-glazed door located to the center right. There are hood moulds over the ground floor windows. A 2-light window is present on both floors of the gable that faces the street. At the rear, there is a wing, likely from the 19th century, which includes additional casements and an ashlar gable end. In the inner angle, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension. This building is included for its group value.
