C18 house set well back, gable end to street, with C19 extensions and shop front to High Street. Colourwashed plaster over limestone rubble, new tile roof. Two gable end brick stacks. Two storeys and attics. Front south- facing elevation symmetrical: central front door with flat hood on simple scroll brackets, six panel door, flanked by two side-sliding sashes with glazing bars, under timber lintels. Three similar to first floor, two box dormers with leaded lights in roof. Unusually intact interior, including staircase and doors. Rear elevation altered and extended. Outhouses to north-east.
