Description

No. 49 on High Street is an 18th-century cottage constructed from limestone rubble and topped with thatch. It features red brick end stacks and has one storey with attics. The cottage has two large 2-light casement windows with glazing bars on each floor, and a central front door. The ground floor is characterized by timber lintels. This building was formerly part of a row of seven cottages known as "The Moorings," located opposite The Swan Inn.
