Stoney Cottage is an 18th-century pair of cottages, with a gable end facing the road. The exterior is limestone rubble with a thatched roof, and brick end stacks. The south-west elevation has three first-floor windows with two lights each, and three similar ground-floor windows, alternating with two doors. The doors are sheltered by simple gabled porch hoods. The north-east elevation has one first-floor casement window and three ground-floor windows. An inscription is scratched into the daub plaster on the interior.
