Description

St Michael's Cottage and Brownstones is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from coursed and squared rubble, topped with a plain tile roof, and feature stone tiles at the eaves, with coped verges and end brick stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have a symmetrical layout with two bays each, featuring 3 and 4-light casements with wooden lintels and glazing bars. St Michael's Cottage has its windows closely set together, with an additional window on the first floor that has square-paned leaded lights. There are two door openings with half-glazed doors, and the right door opening includes a 4-paned sidelight.
