Description

This is a mid-19th century schoolroom with an attached school house. The schoolroom fronts onto High Street and is positioned at right angles to the school house, which is located to the southeast. The schoolroom is constructed of limestone rubble with a slate roof. It features four windows, each with three lights and topped with flat hood moulds in a neo-Gothic style. The school house is also of limestone rubble, but incorporates brick dressings and sections of red brick, with a slate roof. A gable end, decorated with a cusped bargeboard, faces the road.
