Description
Nos. 10, 12, and 14 on Main Street is a house that has been subdivided, dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings, topped with a Collyweston slate roof that features a moulded stone ridge and stone and buff brick stacks at the left end.
The building consists of two ranges. The left range has two storeys with two casements: a 3-light window and a 2-light window above another 3-light window, along with a door, all of which have mostly been renewed in the 20th century. The right range is 2½ storeys high and has three casements: a 3-light window, a 2-light window, and another 3-light window above two 3-light windows and a central six-panelled door, with the top panels being glazed. The casements on the left side have also been renewed in the 20th century.
There are two 2-light hipped dormers above the right range. Additionally, there is a 1½ storey extension on the right end, featuring a Welsh slate roof and a brick end stack, which includes a four-panelled door and a 2-light casement with a 2-light dormer above.
