Description

Number 16 is a house dating from the early 18th century, constructed of coursed squared stone with quoins and stone dressings. It features a plain tile roof with a moulded stone ridge and end stacks, as well as stone coped gables. The building has 2½ storeys and includes three 3-light centre-opening casements and a 2-light window to the centre left, above a 4-panelled door with glazed upper panels. There are three 2-light dormers with slightly cambered roofs and two 1-light windows on the right end. Extending from the left end along Main Street is a coursed rubble stone wall approximately 2½ meters high.
