Description

Menton Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century to early 18th century, possibly with a late 16th century core. It is built of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a thatched roof with stone and moulded stone end stacks. The cottage has one and a half storeys and includes two windows: a small tripartite sash window with a configuration of 6/9, 6/9, and 6/9 lights, and a single light window with two 2-light dormers above. There is a stable-type door on the left and a part-glazed door in the centre-right. The left end of the cottage has a one-storey lean-to extension. Inside, there is a pair of cruck blades.
