Description
Priory House Outbuilding is a former house that has been converted into an outbuilding. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame that is encased in red brick from the 18th century. The building has a pantile roof with catslides and a gable stack. There is a single late 19th-century window with three lights on both the east and west walls, along with a small rectangular window on the east wall. A rectangular doorway with a plain wooden door is situated between the two windows. Inside, the structure has a three-bay, two-purlin roof, with the purlins tenoned into the tie beams. A large brick fireplace from the late 18th century is located in the south wall, and the room is divided by ornate panelling from Karachi.
