Description

Peacock Farm Barn is an early 19th-century barn located on the east side of Main Road in Long Bennington. The barn features chequered red and cream brickwork laid in English Garden bond on its north return. It has a pantile roof with brick and stone coped gables, decorative eaves, and five 20th-century skylights. On the south side, there is a 20th-century dormer above a blocked archway, with a 20th-century doorway inserted below it. Additionally, a rectangular doorway is located on the south front, accompanied by three rectangular openings above. There is also a blocked round opening on the north side. The barn is included for its group value only.
