Description

Manthorpe Bridge is a road bridge built in 1813, with repairs made in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a single span elliptical arch, which has a rounded keystone. Above the arch, there is an oval panel that displays the date "1813" in raised letters. The rounded coped parapet is ramped up to the center and splayed at the ends.
