Description
The pigeoncote at Palace Farm is an early 18th-century structure that has been altered in the 20th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is pyramidal and covered with Collyweston slate, complete with sprocketed eaves and lead dressings. The building has a rectangular plan and is a single storey with single bay sides, each side containing a circular flight hole that has an ashlar surround and keyblock. One end of the structure features a large opening beneath a timber lintel.
