Description

No. 4 Main Street is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins. The roof is covered with pantiles and there are two red brick gable stacks. The cottage is a single storey plus attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a four flush panel door, which is flanked by single three-light casements, all of which are set under timber lintels. In the roof, there are two raking dormers with leaded cheeks, each containing two-light windows.
