Description

No. 2 Main Street is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is built from coursed squared limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins. The roof is made of Collyweston slate and has two yellow brick gable stacks. The cottage is designed in an L-plan and is a single storey plus attics. The front has three bays, with a central six-panelled door flanked by two three-light leaded casements. All openings are topped with timber lintels. In the roof, there are two gabled dormers, each with two-light casements that have slate-hung cheeks.
