Description

No. 26 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with an early 19th-century addition. It is built of coursed limestone rubble, which is partly rendered and colorwashed. The roof is covered with pantiles and features two red brick gable stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. On the street front, there is a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel to the right, and to the left, there are two glazing bar sash windows. Above, there are two smaller glazing bar sash windows, all of which have wooden lintels and 20th-century external louvred shutters.
