Description
Stone House is a house from the early 19th century, with later additions from the 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and brick, topped with pantile roofs. The house has two gable and one lateral brick stacks and stands two storeys high. The south front features four bays, with an earlier three-bay section to the right that includes a central doorway with a 20th-century door, flanked by single plain sash windows. Above this are two similar sash windows. To the left is a single-bay later addition, which has a tall glazing bar sash window on each floor. At the rear, there is a service wing with an upper floor added in brick. Attached to the south front is a low rubble wall with ashlar coping, along with cast iron spearhead railings and a gate.
