Description
The Methodist Chapel, built in 1815, is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with partial render and features a slate roof. The building has a plinth, an ashlar eaves band, and corner pilaster buttresses, and is a single storey in height. The east front has three bays, with a projecting rendered porch that includes an ashlar eaves band and a coped parapet. In the center of the east front, there is a single margin light sash situated between the pilaster buttresses, while the south return features double panel doors. Flanking these are single glazing bar sashes with plain ashlar hoods. The north gable wall displays a tall round-headed central panel that rises into a pedimented gable, topped with a tiny lancet. The west front contains three glazing bar sashes, all featuring plain ashlar hoods. Attached to the east side is a low ashlar wall with coping, complemented by cast iron spearhead railings and a gate.
