Description

This milepost, dating from the late 19th century, is made of cast iron and is painted white with black detailing. The north side is inscribed with "To Billingboro' Half a mile," while the south side reads "To Donington 6 miles." The milepost has a sharp, projecting angle and features an upper inverted triangle inscribed with "Horbling Parish." It stands on a tall base with a projecting angle and has narrow black painted bands defining each face.
