Description
The stables at The Plough Inn date from the early 19th century and are constructed of stock brick with a pantile roof featuring decorated eaves. The building is single storey with a seven-bay front. On the right side, there is a doorway with a plank door and an overlight. To the left, there is a large opening with double plank doors, followed by a single doorway with an overlight and a plank door. There are three additional doorways to the left, all with plank doors, and a shuttered opening to the left that has a small rectangular light above it, all situated under the same wooden lintel. Further left, there is a doorway with double stable doors. All openings are set beneath wooden lintels. This building is included for its group value only.
