Description

The Plough Inn is an inn, now a public house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with some areas of painted render and features an asbestos tile roof with barge boards and gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay front with a rendered plinth. The central doorway has an open pediment and a plain moulded doorcase with fielded panelling, an overlight, and a deep-set panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sashes, with three additional glazing bar sashes located above. The building may have been refronted from an earlier brick property.
