Description

This is a milepost from the late 19th century located on Pointon Road in Billingborough. It is made of cast iron and painted white with black detailing. The north side is inscribed with "To Bourne 9 miles," while the south side reads "To Billingboro 1 mile," creating a sharp projecting angle. At the top, there is an inverted triangle inscribed with "Billingboro Parish." The milepost stands on a tall base with a projecting angle and features black painted bands that define each face.
