Description

This is a milepost from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and painted white with black detailing. The north side is inscribed with "To Bourn 7 miles," while the south side reads "To Billingboro 3 miles," creating a sharp projecting angle. At the top, there is an inverted triangle inscribed with ".... Parish," although the top is damaged. The milepost stands on a tall base with a projecting angle and features black painted bands that define each face.
