DOWSBY BOURNE ROAD TF 13 SW (east side) 5/37 Milepost II

Milepost. Late C19. Cast iron painted white with black detailing. North side, inscribed :To Bourn 7 miles" meets south side inscribed "To Billingboro 3 miles" to form a sharp projecting angle; with upper inverted triangle inscribed ".... Parish", the top of which is damaged. All on a tall base with projecting angle. Cast whole with black painted bands defining each face.
