Description

No. 14, Town Drove is a late 18th-century cottage with some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, with a pantile roof and two brick gable stacks. The two-storey, three-bay front has corbelled-out eaves. The central door is a 19th-century half-glazed door, flanked by single plain sash windows, all with segmental brick heads. Above them, to the first floor, are two smaller sliding sash windows with glazing bars, set into the eaves. A rear outshot has a catslide roof.
