Description

No. 5, Church Street is an early 19th-century cottage. It is constructed from roughly-dressed limestone rubble with some red brick and has pantile roofs with gable stacks. The two-storey, two-bay front features brick quoins and a central doorway with a brick segmental head and a partially glazed door. This doorway is flanked by single sliding sash windows, each with a painted brick segmental head. There are two sliding sash windows above. A 20th-century extension has been added to the right.
