Description

Two cottages, now combined into one dwelling, were built in the mid-18th century, with later 20th-century alterations. The cottages are constructed from roughly layered limestone rubble, with a roof of pentiles and concrete tiles, featuring gable stacks and two ridge stacks. The two-storey front has an irregular seven-bay facade. A doorway is located on the left side, featuring a plain lintel and a partially glazed panelled door. To the left of the doorway is a blocked opening with a lintel, followed by three 20th-century casement windows beneath wooden lintels. A single, narrow light is located beyond, and a further blocked doorway with a lintel is situated to the right. Above, there are three 20th-century casement windows and one Yorkshire sliding sash window replaced in 1992.
